Access to the site
For safety reasons, no public pedestrian access is allowed through the entrance or exit gates at any of our household waste recycling centres. However, if you do not have access to a vehicle, and would like to visit a site on foot, arrangements can be made by calling Waste Management on 01926 412593 at least 24 hours in advance or 48 hours in advance of a weekend. A charity reuse shop run by Sue Ryder can be found at Princes Drive. All proceeds from the sale of materials from this shop go directly to the charity. To find out whether a certain item is accepted at the shop please contact the shop directly:

This site accepts
Asbestos, Batteries, Car Batteries, Cardboard, Carpet, Cartons, Clothes, Cooking oil, Electrical , Fluorescent tubes, Fridges and Freezers, Furniture, Garden waste, Glass, Hardcore and rubble, Hard plastics, Household and garden chemicals, Household waste, Mobile phones, Paint disposal, Paper, Plasterboard, Plastic bottles, Printer cartridges, Scrap metal, Shoes, Soil, Telephone Directories, TV’s and monitors, Used engine oil, Wood and timber.
Sorting and separation of waste materials
Recycling centre staff may open bin bags which would otherwise go into the landfill container to see if more materials can be recovered. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Household and garden chemicals
Princes Drive is licensed to receive household / garden chemicals and paint however, you must complete a chemical waste form in order to do this. Please visit our chemical waste page for more information on how to dispose of garden/household chemicals and paint safely.
Vehicle and trailer restrictions apply at all of Warwickshire’s household waste recycling centres. This effects anyone who uses a van, a commercial type vehicle, a pick-up or a large 4×4.
We are aware that some people may still want to dispose of waste in vehicles which are excluded by the vehicle and trailer restrictions. Facilities are available at Princes Drive household waste recycling centres on a chargeable basis. We will also accept commercial waste at this centre.
