Hardcore, rubble and soil

Small amounts of hardcore, rubble and soil can be deposited for free at recycling centres by members of the public.

Householders may deposit the equivalent of up to 3 x 25 kg bags (75kg total combined weight) per household per month of hardcore, rubble and/or soil.

Hardcore, rubble and soil over these limits are chargeable (see our commercial waste page).

Please note that not all waste types are accepted at all recycling centres so please use our what you can take and where (map) to check which recycling centre you can take your items to.

Alternatively householders can make their own arrangement for the disposal of large quantities of hardcore, rubble and soil for example by using bulk bag services offered from local DIY stores or skip hire.
