The Lloyds Tour of Britain brings more than just sporting prestige. It represents a significant opportunity for the local economy, especially for retail, hospitality and tourism businesses along the route. Previous stages of the Tour have seen spikes in footfall, spend and visibility for local businesses. With analysis showing that £1,263 billion is spent annually in Warwickshire as a result of tourism, supporting over 22,500 jobs, the Tour is expected to provide a welcome boost.

Given this, we’re hoping many local businesses will get involved and take advantage of the increased visitor numbers. This could include themed displays, promotions, or extended opening hours.
