What to expect
The route will begin in Leamington Spa, taking in towns including Kenilworth, Wellesbourne, Shipston-on-Stour and Southam, as well as tackling the challenging Burton Dassett Hills Country Park climb, before returning to Leamington for the final finish.
The stage will offer multiple opportunities for spectators to catch the race along the route as it passes through villages and surrounding countryside, with the closing kilometres set to deliver a fitting finale in the heart of the town.
For those wanting to enjoy a real spectacle of premier women’s cycling, celebrate their local area on a national stage, or simply enjoy a brilliant family-friendly day out, this is an unmissable chance to get involved.
A Countywide Celebration
There’s plenty of opportunity for Warwickshire communities to get involved, including competitions for children to design the official start flag and winner’s trophy for the stage.
The Lloyds Tour of Britain has downloadable resource packs specifically designed for schools to use in lessons, assemblies and activities.
