Traffic management updates
Site preparation works have started with the removal of redundant material and the creation of accesses so that we can, when all approvals have been discharged, recommence main works in the New Year with the pace we intend to maintain for the remainder of the project.
In order to progress early works, there will be overnight closures on the A46 mainline on 8 and 9 November 2025 to install Traffic Management. During these closures, traffic will need to follow the signed diversion routes.
The southbound carriageway will be closed Saturday 8 November 2025 between 9pm and 7am.
