Personal development and life skills
We have a range of courses on offer, some centred around wellbeing, while others are opportunities for exploring new skills. Take time for self-care, meet others with similar interests and motivations as you, nurture yourself and widen your horizons for new experiences.
We offer individualised provision. We will challenge you to reach your personal goals, but we won’t leave you to struggle along the way. Our tutors are approachable, and skilled at enabling and motivating learners from all walks of life.
As well as acquiring new skills, continuing to learn as an adult can improve general confidence and wellbeing. Trying out new things is a great way to promote creativity, and meeting others with similar aims and interests can inspire and encourage along the way.
Our learners have been able to take part in:
- Creative Writing
- Life Skills: mindfulness, communication awareness
Here’s what some learners have said about their experiences of attending our classes:
“The group has been encouraging and supportive. It has been a highlight of the week during difficult times to have the class to look forward to.”
“Thank you for an inspiring, interesting, thought provoking, fun course. It’s been a pleasure and a joy.”
