Tyres
Tyres are not classified as household waste and are not accepted free of charge at your local recycling centre for prices visit our commercial waste page.
If you change your tyres at home, a recognised tyre company (ATS, National Tyre Service, Kwik Fit etc) should be able to dispose of your tyres for a small charge.
If you need new tyres on your car, the garage where you have them fitted will normally dispose of your old tyres for you for a small fee.
Please note that not all waste types are accepted at all recycling centres so please use our what you can take and where (map) to check which recycling centre you can take your items to.
