Appeals for year 7 entry from September 2026

  • National Secondary Offer Day – Monday 2 March 2026
  • Deadline for lodging appeals – Friday 27 March 2026
  • Appeals received by Friday 27 March 2026 will be heard by Monday 15 June 2026
  • Appeals received after Friday 27 March 2026 will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline date or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged (whichever is later)
  • Secondary School on-time applicants: hearings will commence on Thursday 30 April 2026 and finish on Monday 15th June 2026

Appeals for Reception (and year 3 entry if transferring to a Junior School) entry from September 2026

  • Primary Offer Day – Thursday 16 April 2026
  • Deadline for lodging appeals – Thursday day 14 May 2026
  • Appeals received by Thursday 14 May 2026 will be heard by Thursday 16 July 2026
  • Appeals received after Thursday 14 May 2026 school days of the deadline date or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged (whichever is later)

    Primary School on-time applicants: hearings will commence on Wednesday 17 June 2026 and finish on Friday 17 July 2026

Appeals for Sixth Form places for entry from September 2026

Where the offer of a place is conditional upon exam results, appeals will be heard within 30 school days of confirmation of those results.

Where the offer of a place is not conditional upon exam results, appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.

Please contact the school directly for information regarding individual sixth form arrangements.

In Year Admissions (outside of the normal round of entry)

In year (or casual) admission appeals will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

Where possible All Appeals received by  22 June 2026 will be heard before the start of the new term in September 2026.  It may not be possible to hear appeals received after this date prior the start of the new term in September 2026.

Please note no appeals will be heard between Tuesday  20 July 2026 and Friday 18 September 2026.

Appeals process

Your appeal will be acknowledged by letter and email within 5 school days of receipt. If you do not receive an acknowledgement letter within a week of lodging your appeal, contact us on 01926 412954 as a matter of urgency.

Notification of the appeal(s) date will be sent out by email at least 10 school days before the hearing.

Confirmation of the hearing details and the papers relating to your appeal will be sent out to all parties at least 7 calendar days before the appeal.

We must receive any additional supporting documents at least 7 calendar days before the first day of the hearing for the school you are appealing for irrespective of where you are listed within that hearing.

The appeal panel will decide whether or not material submitted after this deadline will be considered, taking into account the amount and its significance and the effect of a possible need to adjourn the hearing. Therefore, we strongly advise you to comply with this deadline.

The Independent Appeals Panel's decision will be sent to you by email within 5 school days of the hearing, where possible.
