Impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on education appeals

We are monitoring government guidance and currently considering the possible impact of the coronavirus on school appeals.

There may be unavoidable delays to progressing and hearing appeals this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Independent Appeal Panel Members are unpaid trained volunteers which means they're not employed by the council with many falling into the vulnerable groups affected by this outbreak.

This will have an effect on when the appeals take place. We will update you with guidance when made available to us.

Submit your appeal online

Alternatively, please contact the admissions service on 01926 414143 to request a form.

Your options

You will be advised about schools that have places available and given other useful information like reserve lists for those in the transfer year group. Please talk to the admissions service if you have been refused a place at the school you prefer. It’s very important to do this even if you are going to submit an appeal.
