Mainstream schools cater for a range of SEND needs. If the right support is in place, attending a mainstream school can have lots of benefits. It provides social benefits and prepares children for the environments they will experience later in life.

'Wrong Size Fits All' is a short film production that chronicles the personal journeys, based on the experiences shared by members of IMPACT, Warwickshire's youth forum for individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It sheds light on the diverse experiences children and young people face within educational settings and aims to foster an understanding of their needs.

This section details the ways SEND students are supported in mainstream education. You can also find guidance on how schools are expected to support SEND students.
