Post-16 is a key transition point for every learner. Transitions can be disruptive for children and young people with SEND. It can also be exciting because after year 11 they get more choice about what to do.

There are lots of options for young people with SEND. They can apply to any sixth form, college, or apprenticeship of their choice. They may also be eligible for a supported internship.
