WCC Councillors’ Grant Fund 2019/20

The Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations. The Fund provides Warwickshire County Councillors with a small pot of funding to support small-scale projects within their area that support the following outcomes:

  • Warwickshire’s communities and individuals are supported to be safe, healthy and independent; and,
  • Warwickshire’s economy is vibrant and supported by the right jobs, training, skills and infrastructure.

All applications should aim to build community solutions to local issues and improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Warwickshire.

The first round of funding will launch on Monday 6 May 2019 with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 7 June 2019.

If there is any surplus money carried over from the first round, the second round will launch on Monday 16 September 2019, with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 11 October 2019.

Warwick District Community Forum Grant Scheme 2019/20

This is a joint fund supported by Warwickshire County Council and Warwick District Council.

We will be launching the first round of the Warwick District Community Forum Grant Fund on Monday 1 July 2019, with a deadline date of 5pm on Monday 9 September 2019.

The second round will run from 2 December 2019 with a deadline date of 5pm on Monday 20 January 2020.

WCC Councillors’ Grant Fund 2019/20 for Warwick District

The fund is only open to the communities of Kenilworth, Lapworth and North Leamington to apply directly to local County Councillors for funding. In all other areas of Warwick District, funding can be applied for through the Warwick District Community Forum Grant Scheme as detailed above.

This fund will launch on Monday 16 September 2019 with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 11 October 2019.

Community Computers Scheme

Small Scale Flood Alleviation Grant Scheme

Warwickshire County Council is looking for applications for up to £5,000 per annum for Warwickshire groups, residents and businesses for new works or studies to remove or mitigate flood risk within Warwickshire.

The grant is made available to Town Councils, Parish Councils and Constituted Groups. Individual applicants are encouraged to bid for funds through one of these, though where this is not practical, applications not made through one of these organisations may be considered. All applicants are responsible for implementing their own proposals. This includes where applicable: seeking permission for the relevant landowners or other agencies, obtaining quotes, ensuring all health and safety obligations are met and complying with any other legislative requirements involved.
