Round 2: WCC Councillors’ Grant Fund 2018/19

We have now launched the 2nd round of our Councillors’ Grant Fund for 2018/19, for the money that was carried forward from the first round. PLEASE NOTE: Not all Councillors had a surplus of funds to carry over.

The Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations. The Fund provides Warwickshire County Councillors with a small pot of funding to support small-scale projects within their area that support the following outcomes:

  • Warwickshire’s communities and individuals are supported to be safe, healthy and independent; and,
  • Warwickshire’s economy is vibrant and supported by the right jobs, training, skills and infrastructure.

All applications should aim to build community solutions to local issues and improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Warwickshire.

The deadline for applications is Friday 18th January 2019.

Warwick District Community Forum Grant Scheme 2018/19

We are pleased to announce the launch of the second round of  the Warwick District Community Forum Grant Fund 2018-19! This is a joint fund supported by Warwickshire County Council and Warwick District Council. The fund opens on Monday 3 December 2018 and closes on Monday 28 January 2019.

WCC Councillors’ Grant Fund 2018/19 for Warwick District

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROUND OF FUNDING HAS NOW CLOSED.

The fund is only open to the communities of Kenilworth, Lapworth and North Leamington to apply directly to local County Councillors for funding. In all other areas of Warwick District, funding can be applied for through the Warwick District Community Forum Grant Scheme from Monday 3 December 2018 with a closing date of Friday 30th November 2018.

Community Computers Scheme 2018

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROUND OF FUNDING HAS NOW CLOSED.

There are a total of 120 recycled laptops to give away for FREE to community groups, voluntary organisations and Town & Parish Councils, across all of Warwickshire. The laptops available are the Toshiba Z Series Ultralight Laptops.

Small Scale Flood Alleviation Grant Scheme

Warwickshire County Council are looking for applications for up to £5,000 per annum for Warwickshire groups, residents and businesses for new works or studies to remove or mitigate flood risk within Warwickshire.

The grant is made available to Town Councils, Parish Councils and Constituted Groups. Individual applicants are encouraged to bid for funds through one of these, though where not practical applications not made through one of these organisations may be considered. Full details, terms and conditions are included in the document link below.

All applicants are responsible for implementing their own proposals. This includes where applicable; seeking permission for the relevant land owners or other agencies, obtaining quotes, ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and complying with any other legislative requirements involved.
