Understanding your child online practitioner courses

Solihull Approach have developed a whole range of Understanding Your Child online courses suitable for parents and carers, young people and/or professionals. 

Two courses have been developed for professionals to support their confidence and knowledge when working with families. These are both available free of charge:

  • Understanding Attachment
  • Understanding Trauma

To book on a course, you first need to register as a professional and create an account. You can then access the course for free with the access code: BEAR

Courses for parents, carers and young people

There are eight courses currently available free of charge to parents and carers:

  • Understanding your pregnancy
  • Understanding your baby
  • Understanding your child
  • Understanding your teenager
  • Understanding your child with additional needs
  • Understanding your child’s feelings
  • Understanding your child’s mental health
  • Understand your relationships
