Waste Local Plan

The Waste Local Plan has been prepared in order to identify the most suitable areas for the processing and/or disposal of waste.

The Waste Local Plan was adopted in 1995 and is currently under review. Although Local Plans have been replaced with Local Development Frameworks this Waste Local Plan is saved until September 2007. It will be replaced by a Minerals & Waste Development Framework in accordance with the requirements of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act (2004).
