There are also other ecological impacts that may need to be compensated for, these may include:
- Protected or important species
- Nutrient neutrality
- Carbon
- Nitrous and Ammonia deposition
The county council is currently consulting on compensatory mechanisms within a sub-regional Warwickshire Coventry and Solihul Ecosystem Service Trading Protocol which forms an annex to the Green Infrastructure Strategy
