Cllr Heather Timms, Warwickshire Country Council's Portfolio Holder for Environment, Heritage & Culture, said:
“Local groups have excellent local knowledge and are very well placed to provide services and activities that meet the needs of their communities. This fund is an excellent way for the County Council to enable local people to address issues that are important to them.”
Cllr Judy Falp, Warwick District Council’s Health & Community Protection Portfolio Holder, said:
“The fund has supported many great community projects over the years and is an easy way for groups applying for the first time to receive project funding. This support can be invaluable for new groups or to those looking to diversify and become more sustainable.”
