Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund 2017/18
Warwickshire County Council Councillor’s Grant Fund will launch w/c 17th July 2017.
The Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ Grant Fund is aimed at community and voluntary organisations. The fund provides each of the county’s 57 Councillors with a pot of £5000 to support small scale projects within their division that support the following outcomes:
- Warwickshire’s communities and individuals are supported to be safe, healthy and independent;
- Warwickshire’s economy is vibrant and supported by the right jobs, training, skills and infrastructure
Please note: A separate scheme will be launched later this year for Warwick District. However, Voluntary & Community Groups can apply for funding through the Warwick District Community Forum Grant scheme as mentioned below.
Warwick District Community Forum Grant Scheme
Community Forum Grant Fund 2017/18
The next round of the Community Forum Grant Fund will be September/October 2017 for all of the Warwick District community forums.
The scheme is launching on Friday 28 July and the deadline for submission of applications will be posted here when confirmed. If you would like to be notified when the next round of funding commences, please send an email with your name, group name, area, and contact email address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that Warwick District Council supports the delivery of two community forum meetings for each of the seven locality areas within the district. Some dates for these meetings have been confirmed whilst others are waiting to be fixed and will be posted here in due course.
Kenilworth – Tuesday 12 September 2017 at 6.30pm for 7pm start at Kenilworth Senior Citizens’ Club, Abbey End, Kenilworth, CV8 1QJ
North Leamington – Thursday 12 October 2017 at 6pm for a 6.30pm start at a venue to be confirmed
South Leamington – Thursday 28 September 2017 at 6pm start at The Sydni Centre, Cottage Square, Leamington Spa, CV31 1PT
Warwick Rural East – on a date and venue to be confirmed
Warwick Rural West – Thursday 28 September 2017 at 7pm for drop in surgery session for a 7.30pm start at Shire Hall, Market Square, Warwick, CV34 4SA
Warwick Town – Thursday 19 October 2017 at 6pm for a 6.30pm start at a venue to be confirmed
Whitnash – Wednesday 4 October 2017 at 6.30pm for a 7pm start at Acre Close Community Hall, Acre Close, Warwick, CV31 2JH
Small Scale Flood Alleviation Grant Scheme
Warwickshire County Council are looking for applications for up to £5,000 per annum for Warwickshire groups, residents and businesses for new works or studies to remove or mitigate flood risk within Warwickshire.
The grant is made available to Town Councils, Parish Councils and Constituted Groups. Individual applicants are encouraged to bid for funds through one of these, though where not practical applications not made through one of these organisations may be considered. All applicants are responsible for implementing their own proposals. This includes where applicable; seeking permission for the relevant land owners or other agencies, obtaining quotes, ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and complying with any other legislative requirements involved.
