The following privacy notice applies to information processed in regard to Warwickshire County Council’s Passenger Transport Journey Assistance Cards. It should be read in addition to the council’s overall Customer Privacy Notice.
- Purpose for processing
We collect your information for the purposes of establishing which Journey Assistance Card(s) are required and to despatch them to you.
We may also use this information to contact you about any updates to the scheme in the future – this is dependent on you having opted in during the application process and you may opt out at any time.
- Personal information collected and lawful basis
We will process the following personal information:
- Postal Address
- Contact Telephone Number
Our lawful basis for processing this information is consent.
- Who we may share your information with
All processing is done internally within Warwickshire County Council.
- How long we will hold your information
We will keep your information for 6 months unless requested to have deleted sooner. However, please note that any deleted before your request has been fully processed may affect your receipt of any requested Journey Assistance Cards.
- Your information rights
You are entitled to a copy of, or a description of, the personal data we hold that relates to you, subject to lawful restrictions. See how to request this using the online secure form.
