DBS Services

Does your organisation need compliance checks for staff or volunteers?

We provide Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to help organisations undertake security checks of those working for them, ensuring that their customers are protected from harm. We can also provide individual support on a face-to-face basis and develop specific solutions to individual challenges faced by you (including training courses).

A DBS check is a legal requirement:

  • for certain jobs or voluntary work, for example working with children or in healthcare
  • to foster or adopt a child

The DBS and Vetting Service provides expert advice, identifying your organisation's Disclosure and Barring Service requirements and providing an end-to-end online compliance process.

Lots of organisations require a Disclosure and Barring Service check to be done on current, or prospective, staff or volunteers.

Checks are particularly important where a role involves contact with vulnerable groups or children. These types of role often need a barred list check and it's illegal to employ someone to work with vulnerable groups when they appear on this list.
