Switch and Save

Warwickshire Switch and Save is now open for registration. This is a scheme to help residents get cheaper gas and electricity bills. In partnership with Act on Energy, we help households looking to switch suppliers.

How do I register?

To register for the scheme you will need a copy of your annual statement or recent electricity and/or gas bill.

You can also register over the phone – 0800 988 2881.

More details on the scheme are available at these library information desks:

Why Switch and Save?

The scheme, managed by iChoosr, is open to all UK energy customers owning or renting a property. You can sign up as long as your name is on the energy bill. Pre-pay meter users can also register. The more we register collectively, the better (and most likely lowest) energy tariff we get as one.

In 2016 switchers saved at least £304 on average from their annual energy bill. 57,000 people registered an interest with iChoosr in May 2017 alone.

You can speak to iChoosr on 0800 0488 285 or by email: bigcommunityswitch@ichoosr.com.

How does it work?

After you have registered, there are a few simple steps that you need to follow.

If you have registered and haven’t received your offer letter by 2nd July or if you need help to understand it please contact us – 0800 988 2881.

Accepting the offer

To switch you’ll need to complete the form attached to the offer letter and post it back in the pre-paid envelope by 26th June 2018. If you are emailing the form back this will need to be done by 3rd July 2018.

After switching

If you have missed the first auction there are more running in October 2018 and February 2019.

Please keep an eye on the expiry of your current or newly secured electricity and/or gas contract. You may be able to get a cheaper energy deal by switching supplier with us again.
