Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is for children in full time education from reception to year 11, who receive benefits related free school meals.
It means children on benefit related free school meals can access activities with a healthy meal over the Christmas, Easter, and Summer holidays.
HAF has SEND specific providers and can provide funding for 1 to 1 support to enable young people with SEND to attend mainstream providers.
HAF also has family experiences aimed for young people with SEND and free school meals.
Always disclose your child’s needs when booking places. We can provide funding for your child to have 1 to 1 support with the provider and find the right situation for them. Your child will not be turned away due to their additional needs.
