The SEND Code of Practice 2015 introduced Education, Health and Care Plans for learners with SEND. The documents required to support the needs assessment process are available here.
An EHC is an Educational, Health and Care plan. An EHCP formalises the support your child will receive. EHC Plans are for complex, long-term needs and when a child’s progress suggests they need more targeted support.
