A standard highway search will provide information in relation to a specific property or road on:
- highway status of named roads
- road schemes (within 200m)
- traffic schemes
- railway schemes
- outstanding notices relating to highways
- compulsory purchase orders
- public paths and byways
- parks and countryside

The cost of a standard search is £36 (plus VAT).
Questions about Village Greens/Common Land cost at an additional £16.25 (plus VAT).
Enquiries regarding highway extent (width of highway) cost £89.75.
For Highway extents of greater than 200m there is a charge of £89.75 per 200m of road (in other words, 0-200m chargeable at £89.75, 200-400m chargeable at £179.50).
Please request a quote and forward a plan to us at searches@warwickshire.gov.uk before making payment, to avoid incorrect transactions.
Once we have received your request, we will send you a precise quote and provide payment details to enable you to make your payment.
Highway search enquiries will be responded to within 10 working days where possible.
An administration fee of £25.00 is payable for providing duplicate search result documents.
