2026/27
Paid Applications will be open from 1 June 2026 using the form on the how to apply page. You will not be able to apply until this date. The deadline for on-time applications is Friday 10 July. We cannot guarantee that applications made after this date will be processed in time for September 2026.
All applications accepted will be paid monthly and rates will be as follows -
- where the student lives less than three miles from the school – £507.50 per year (10 months at £50.75 - Oct to July)
- where the student lives more than three miles from the school – £1,015 per year (10 months at £101.50 - Oct to July)
Students or families in receipt of a qualifying benefit will qualify for a reduced charge:
- where the student lives less than three miles from the school – £253.75 per year (10 months at £25.37 - Oct to July)
- where the student lives more than three miles from the school – – £507.50 per year (10 months at £50.75 - Oct to July)
Students or families who receive one of the qualifying benefits listed below are considered to have a low income and will qualify for the reduced rate;
- Income Support
- Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
- the Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit
- the Maximum Level of Working Tax Credit
- Employment and Support Allowance (Income-related)
- Child Tax Credit (below the relevant threshold of £16,190)
- support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Universal Credit (with an annual income of less than £7400)
- Free School Meals.
