IndieGo Rugby
This service is currently suspended, due to the unexpected closure of Back & 4th, which was a part of Warwickshire Rural Community Council at the end of last week.
We are working to try to get a replacement service in place. However, this will take some time to organise, as it involves sourcing vehicles, drivers, and a way to manage the bookings. We hope to have a longer term solution in place in the new year, and will try to get something temporary before Christmas.
Once we are clearer about what is going to happen going forward, we will write out to everyone registered with IndieGo Rugby to share the new arrangements. Where we have email addresses, we will use these for speed, but for most IndieGo Rugby users we only have a phone no or address.
If you would like to receive this information via email, please tell us via passengertransport@warwickshire.gov.uk, or you can contact us via the same email for urgent enquires.
IndieGo helps residents travel and access local services and amenities in Warwickshire. IndieGo operates a minibus dial-a-ride scheme that operates to and from Rugby at key times, along with numerous villages around the Rugby area. It is provided if you are unable to make your journey either due to mobility issues or a lack of public transport.
They provide a wheelchair-accessible service that helps with:
- commuters travelling to work,
- GP/Hospital visits,
- shopping and
- leisure.
Users will be required to register to use the minibus.
All bookings are subject to availability. Same-day bookings, if available, can be made from 9am to 3pm between Monday - Friday.
