Warwickshire Minerals Local Plan

The Warwickshire Minerals Local Plan 2018 – 2032 (PDF, 74MB) (adopted 22 July 2022) sets out the council’s planning policies for mineral development.

The policies map shows the geographical application of the policies in the plan.

The Warwickshire Minerals Local Plan forms part of the Development Plan for the county alongside the adopted Waste Core Strategy and the Local Plans for boroughs and districts in Warwickshire as well as adopted Neighbourhood Plans. It will be used to make decisions on mineral planning applications for mineral extraction, processing and restoration and resources to help boroughs and districts to ensure that minerals resources and mineral infrastructure are not sterilised by non-mineral development.
