Bridge details and location
Binton Bridge South is located in Welford-on Avon and carries Binton Road over the River Avon. The bridge was built between 1806-09. The Grade II listed building is constructed from a combination limestone ashlar and brickwork and consists of five arches. Navigable channel constructed under the 5th arch in 1970. The structure is tied by pattress plates and iron tie rods adjacent to the navigation arch.
