Impact of the JSNA
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is designed to do more than describe the health and wellbeing of Warwickshire's population. Its purpose is to provide the evidence needed to support better decisions, influence priorities, and drive action to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities.
JSNAs can be used in many different ways. They help commissioners and service providers understand local health needs, support the development of strategies and plans, inform funding and investment decisions, identify emerging issues, and provide a shared evidence base for partnership working. They can also help organisations make the case for change, target resources more effectively, and ensure services are designed around the needs of local communities.
