The Community Dental Service is a special service providing dental treatment for children, adults and older people who, because of a mental or behavioural difficulty, are not able to attend a general dentist.
Staff at the community dental service have expertise in the care, management and understanding of people with special needs.
Dental treatment is offered for people who have:
- Learning difficulties
 - Mental health problems
 - Physical disability
 - Severe or complex medical problems
 - Social, emotional or behavioural difficulties
 - People who have severe dental anxiety and phobias

 - Stratford upon Avon
 
The Warwickshire special care dental service provides dental care for people of any age who have additional needs that make it difficult for them to access a family dentist.
Referral can only be made by a health professional, GP or dental practitioner.
