Communities and Place Projects
Community Digital Hubs – The WCC Connected Warwickshire project identified an opportunity to use mobile phone signal boosters to amplify and improve rural connection in community spaces across the Stratford District Council area, including four Village Halls, two Community Centres and a community-run village pub. The scheme has helped to improve mobile connectivity and has supported residents, community groups and local events where reliable mobile coverage is increasingly essential.
WCC Country Parks Team used some of the grant to fund improvements at two sites - Ufton Fields Nature Reserve, installing new signage and an improved Bird Hide, and at Stratford Greenway a new play space has been installed. New train-themed play equipment installed on the Stratford Greenway - Warwickshire County Council
