Composting is a natural process which produces a rich soil conditioner free of charge. Uncooked kitchen, and garden waste is collected in a 'heap' or bin and made into a rich compost for the garden.
Uncooked food can be collected at the kerbside, either weekly in a kerbside caddy, or in your green wheeled garden waste bin (subscription applies), depending on where you live. Check with your local council.
