Resourcing to Risk is a programme to identify how we can best position our resources to make the biggest difference to the communities we serve. In order to deliver on our Prevention, Protection and Response Strategy (PDF, 3 MB), we must have the right resource, in the right place and at the right time.
From 11 December 2023 to 10 March 2024, we invited views and feedback on the Resourcing to Risk proposal via ask.warwickshire.gov.uk. We are grateful to everyone who completed the survey and took the time to join us at one of the information sessions that were held around Warwickshire at the start of 2024.
As a result of this feedback, a new proposal – Model A – has been developed and WCC’s Cabinet agreed on Tuesday 16 July to adopt this as the future operating model for WFRS.
