Resourcing to Risk is a programme to identify how we can best position our resources to make the biggest difference to the communities we serve. In order to deliver on our Prevention, Protection and Response Strategy (PDF, 3 MB), we must have the right resource, in the right place and at the right time.
Have your say
We are consulting on a proposed change to our service delivery model as part of our Resourcing to Risk approach.
We wants to hear views and feedback on this proposal, which aims to optimise the distribution of fire appliances, firefighters and supporting resources so that they better align to risk and demand.
The public consultation summarises the reasons for the Resourcing to Risk proposal and the benefits that we believe the proposed approach offers in improving how we keep Warwickshire’s communities and people safe. It includes an online survey which will remain open until 10 March 2024.
Please visit warwickshire.gov.uk/ask to view the proposal and complete the online survey. If you need a paper copy of the survey, or an alternative format or language, please call 01926 410410 or email email@example.com.

If you'd like to learn more about the Resourcing to Risk approach, you can listen to CFO Ben Brook and Assistant CFO Sally Waldron discuss the need for change on a Let's Talk Warwickshire podcast. There's also a video message from CFO Ben Brook explaining more about the consultation and how to get involved.
We are also holding a series of information sessions in each of Warwickshire’s district and boroughs. Each will start at 6.30pm and finish at 8pm. Places are limited according to each venue (these vary from 150 – 400), so if you’d like to join us, you MUST book a ticket. They will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, but if your chosen event is fully booked, you will have an opportunity to join a waiting list.
Tickets for these events are available via Eventbrite, or by calling 01926 410410.
