As part of the ongoing development of the Transforming Nuneaton Project, Warwickshire County Council has now submitted a compulsory purchase order (CPO) to the Secretary of State.
Compulsory purchase order and side road orders
As part of the ongoing development of the Transforming Nuneaton Project, Warwickshire County Council has now submitted a compulsory purchase order (CPO) to the Secretary of State with relation to the purchase of several parcels of land within Nuneaton.
Side road orders (SRO) have also been submitted, covering private means of access to be stopped up, highway to be stopped up, and new means of access.

Any objection to the CPO must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Transport, Department for Transport, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR or by email to nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk before 11 September 2026 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
