The Abbey Street development site lies to the west of Nuneaton Town Centre covering 2.3 hectares it is within easy reach of the train and bus stations making it an ideal location for new retail and leisure uses. Planning permission was granted in April 2021 for works to begin on the new hotel site later this summer.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, and its strategic development partner Queensbury, are bringing forward two exciting projects as part of the Transforming Nuneaton programme:
A new town centre campus for North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC) on Abbey Street
A residential development on Bridge Street named ‘Bridge to Living’.
As part of the planning process they are inviting the local community and other key stakeholders to have their say. We want to hear your views on these projects and we will consider them as we finalise the proposals.
Full planning permission is sought for both projects and more detail can be found on the Transforming Nuneaton webpage.
Have your say
