Design the Official Start Flag and Trophy Competition
Get your colouring pencils at the ready! We need some wheely good designs from children aged 11 or under in Warwickshire to design both the starting flag and the trophy for the Warwickshire stage of the Lloyds Cycle Tour of Britain Women’s race.
What we’re looking for:
- Colourful, creative and original designs
- Something that celebrates cycling, racing and Warwickshire
The designers of the winning flag and trophy design will be invited to the race start and finish in Leamington Spa. So please make sure you are free on Sunday 23 August to join us!
To be eligible to win, you must be aged 11 or under and either live in Warwickshire, or go to a Warwickshire school.
How to enter
- Download and print either the flag competition entry form (PDF, 835 KB) or trophy competition entry form (PDF, 834 KB) entry form (or both competition entry forms (PDF, 1 MB!)
- Fill in the entry form with your details and use the second page for your design – fill the space, be bold and creative!
- Return your entry by Friday 17 July using one of the options below.
- The winners will be contacted soon after the closing date.

Take a photo or scan of both sides OR save it as a PDF.
Keep the original design safe! If you win, we’ll need it to create the final flag or trophy.
Hand it in at
Any Warwickshire library, Shire Hall, Warwick, or at Ryton Pools or Kingsbury Water Park Visitor Centres (open from 9.45am til 4pm at weekends and during school holidays).
