Below is our response to the national 'Planning for the Future' consultation. The Council's response has been created by a process of engagement with all our Members.
The Council recognises that the proposals are far-reaching and envisage substantial change in the current planning system, and the Council supports much of the government’s ambition and direction in this regard. However in our full response we identify several substantial concerns with the proposals.
