You will also need many other characteristics, including resilience, ambition, and tolerance, to help prepare you for the wider world.
The Warwickshire Challenge suggests ways you can develop these characteristics, with 76 suggested activities for you to have a go at and try out new things and experiences.
The challenges are for young people aged 11 to 14. Most importantly we want you to have fun.
What's it all about?
The Warwickshire Challenge is a list of activities for you to tackle. There are a wide range of challenges to choose from, including:
- spending more time outdoors
- learning a new skill at home
- visiting somewhere new
- volunteering in your community
Some are fun, some are easy, some are hard.
You can choose challenges that will be new to you and ones you know you will enjoy. All of these will help you to develop new skills and gain confidence, self-belief and knowledge.
The challenges are low / no-cost experiences.
