Warwickshire Legal Services (WLS) operates as a commercial business within Warwickshire County Council, delivering award-winning work as the Council’s in-house legal team whilst achieving successful outcomes for a diverse pool of external public sector clients and partner bodies.
Few in-house legal teams operate this way, and it’s this approach that provides such a unique environment for our committed and ambitious team of over 120 staff to repeatedly deliver for our clients whilst continuing to develop and progress in their careers.
Based in Warwick, at the heart of the county, WLS offers legal support, advice, and representation across a broad range of legal specialisms and disciplines, from planning, commercial, contracts, and property, to education, child protection, and adult social care. WLS work with a diverse range of external clients including Warwick District Council, Warwickshire Police, West Mercia Police, Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Gloucestershire County Council, and many other councils as well as over 200 schools and academies.
We are an ambitious, motivated, and nationally recognised team that wants to deliver consistently outstanding legal work to our public sector clients, enabling them to achieve their objectives on challenging and engaging projects in order to help benefit their local communities.
