Businesses across Warwickshire are invited to a free networking and information event to learn more about supplying goods and services to Warwickshire County Council.
Taking place at Shire Hall, Warwick, on Wednesday 22 October from 8am to 10am, the event, which is part of the Warwickshire Business Growth Service offer, will give local businesses an opportunity to better understand the council's procurement process, explore tender opportunities and connect with the council's procurement and contract management teams.

Hosted by the Leader of the Council, Councillor George Finch, the event will provide an opportunity for small and medium sized businesses within Warwickshire to meet the council’s procurement and contract management teams and find out how their business can engage with public sector opportunities.
On the day, businesses will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from and meet the Council’s procurement and contract management teams
- Learn about procurement and tender opportunities
- Understand how the Council’s procurement process works
- Learn how to build a successful relationship with the Council, from contract mobilisation and performance expectations to invoicing, compliance and social value.
- Learn more about the public sector compliance and governance processes.
- Connect with a range of business support services and partners
- Speak with procurement teams from Warwickshire’s district and borough councils
