Warwickshire County Council’s Registration Service is inviting prospective couples to attend its next open day at St John’s House in Warwick on Sunday 4 October 2026, 11am – 2pm.
This is a unique opportunity to look around St John’s House, with experienced registrars on hand to answer questions and provide more information about the venue and ceremonies.
The venue is a Grade I listed Jacobean mansion and has two wood-panelled rooms. The larger room can accommodate up to 40 people, while the smaller room is suitable for more intimate legal ceremonies of up to eight people. The venue hosts marriages, civil partnerships, renewal of vows and naming ceremonies throughout the year.
Steeped in history, St John's House has been part of Warwick's story for centuries. The building dates back to the late 17th century, while the site itself has served many different purposes since medieval times, adding to its distinctive character and appeal.
With elegant interiors, historic features and attractive gardens, St John's House offers a range of stunning backdrops for ceremony and celebration photographs.
