Mayor Andy Street spoke about the West Midlands Combined Authority’s support for high growth businesses and what this means for Warwickshire.
Councillor Izzi Seccombe said: “Warwickshire is full of so many diverse and interesting businesses, and Warwickshire County Council is committed to helping our business community to maximise their potential.
“At the event, we celebrated some real success stories of companies that have benefited from our small business grants scheme, and looked at what more we can do to help support our small businesses to grow and prosper.
“I was delighted that I was joined at The Old Shire Hall by Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, to acknowledge the impact of Warwickshire businesses on the regional economy.”
The event was also attended by representatives from the county’s professional services and regional CEOs, such as Nigel Maris, Managing Director of Assembled Electronic Solutions in Stratford-on-Avon, who said:
"I was delighted to attend the event in this really exciting and interesting venue. The more we get the SMEs together and get the networking going, the more we can really leverage all the engineering expertise in the area."
The event was organised by Warwickshire County Council to promote Warwickshire as a fantastic place to do business to significant regional influencers.
