Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Warwickshire County Council are making the speed limit order relating to extending the 30mph speed limit along the Old Milverton Road, Leamington.

Scheme Overview

As part of County Councillor Giffords delegated budget, Warwickshire County Council are introducing a series of speed cushions along the Old Milverton Road, Leamington. In addition to this, a 30mph speed limit has been consulted upon, has been approved and is coming into effect on 20th February 2023. Further details are given in the public notice below.

Plans showing this scheme, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for making this 30 mph speed limit may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
