February 2026
This page is dedicated to a new phase of works at the A452 Europa Way corridor, in connection with the Taylor Wimpey and Bloor Homes development known as ‘The ASPS.’
Work will begin in early April 2026 for a new Left-In, Left-Out [LILO] junction for the development, which is expected to be completed in the Winter [26/27].
The junction will provide access into the development which will see 900 homes built in the area. A primary school, local centre and park and ride facility for up to 500 spaces.
Initial tree and vegetation clearance along Europa Way will begin in February 2026 to avoid nesting season, which typically begins in March.
Two-way portable traffic signals will be used to manage traffic through the trees / vegetation clearance works. The signals will be installed to cover an approximate 150 metre length at any one time and will operate through the full extent of the scheme.
As the vegetation and tree clearance progresses, the signal arrangement will be relocated in stages, which may result in multiple signal moves during the overall works period.
This advance site clearance work is expected to be complete by the end of February 2026.
This project follows the road widening scheme on the A425 Banbury Road, which was finished on time in December 2025 to meet the wider aspirations for the locality.
Why are the works necessary?
The works are necessary to satisfy conditions imposed as part of the planning permission for the development.
