Warwickshire Duo Turns Shared Vision into Thriving Family Support Business
Melissa Schmidt and Vicky Morgan, both first-time mums in 2020, transformed their challenging birth experiences into a mission to support families across Warwickshire.
After connecting via Facebook, they launched Beyond the Bump, offering antenatal classes and postnatal support.
With guidance from Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce through the Business Start-Up Support programme, they refined their strategy, grew their services, and recently opened their first premises in Warwick.
Now a community interest company, Beyond the Bump collaborates with the NHS and other bodies, helping hundreds of families while Melissa and Vicky juggle motherhood and entrepreneurship. Their story showcases the power of collaboration, local business support, and determination.
