Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning

Fuel burning appliances need air and ventilation to work safely or they could be deadly.

You must install, use and maintain heating and cooking appliances in the right way. Appliances that use coal, smokeless fuels, wood, oil and gas can cause CO poisoning if you do not install them correctly.
