PET‑Xi: TechDen – Build It, Code It, Pitch It
Overview:
Welcome to TechDen – an exciting, hands-on summer programme where technology meets entrepreneurship. This high-energy experience challenges young people to design, build, and pitch their own AI-powered business idea, developing real-world skills in coding, creativity, and communication.
What you’ll do
Step into the world of innovation and take your idea from concept to reality:
- Create your own business idea – solve real problems using technology
- Learn coding and AI basics – design digital tools, apps or experiences (e.g. mood trackers, smart services)
- Use tech for good – build solutions that support wellbeing, community, or everyday life
- Pitch like a pro – develop marketing, branding and presentation skills
- Work your way – independently or as a team, with flexible and supportive spaces
Daily Experience
Every day is dynamic and engaging:
- Hands-on tech and business workshops
- Fun team challenges and problem-solving missions
- Wellbeing activities including movement, breaks and reflection
- Daily rewards and final showcase event
- Free meals provided
What you’ll gain

Final Challenge
At the end of the programme, you’ll take part in the TechDen Showcase, where you’ll:
- Present your AI-powered business idea
- Pitch to a panel (Dragon’s Den-style!)
- Compete for prizes and recognition
