WCC’s Sufficiency Strategy for Children in Care, 2025 to 2028 aims to address the ‘Sufficiency Duty’ of the Local Authority – determined by Section 22G of the Children’s Act 1989. This places a requirement on each local area to ensure sufficient accommodation for children in care.
