Corks can be put into your home compost bin, if you have one, or used as a mulch on plants when chopped into small pieces. Please make sure the corks are real as synthetic ones will not compost and cannot be recycled.
Real corks from wine, Champagne or Champagne-style drinks can be reused by sending your corks to Recorked UK.
For every cork collected, a percentage of the profit is donated to nominated charities. Corks are also supplied free to various charities and schools for use in craft projects.
