Members allowances 2017 to 2018 - Warwickshire Open Data

The table below shows the allowances paid to elected members of the County Council in the year 1 st April 2017 to 31 st March 2018. The table shows basic allowances, which all elected members receive, special responsibility allowance (e.g. for chairing Committee), carers allowance and travel and subsistence for elected members in accordance with section 51 of the Local Authorities (Member’s Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 (Statutory Instruments 1021). The figures include expenses for Members of the Police and Crime Panel which are paid by Warwickshire County Council and reimbursed as a grant from the Home Office. Details of these payments are included in the Warwickshire Police and Crime panel data. The amounts paid to members vary between members according to their particular responsibilities and also the number of meetings and distance they may need to travel from their homes to these meetings.
