The Atherstone Place-based Needs Assessment has been published.
This is a pilot of a programme of place-based needs assessments approved by the Warwickshire Health & Wellbeing Board to inform the strategic planning of local services.
The Atherstone needs assessment covers the Atherstone North, Atherstone Central and Atherstone South & Mancetter wards. It provides an overview of the demographics of the Atherstone population along with local data on health; social care; education; employment & income; crime & community safety; road safety & transport; environment & technology; and services. The report has been used by stakeholders in Atherstone to produce a list of recommendations to address issues raised and improve outcomes in the area. An action plan has been drafted and once agreed will be published on the JSNA website.
